Tutors: Anne-Marie Curran (CPI Chair) Arrow Films; Jess Felton Whirligig @ Windmill Lane; Max Brady Pull The Trigger and Andrew Freedman Antidote
Date: Friday, November 13th, 2020
Duration: 12.00 – 13.30
This interactive session, brought to you in partnership with Screen Skillnet, Screen Skills Ireland and Commercial Producers Ireland, will focus on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the production of Television Commercials. This is an opportunity to focus on the specific challenges faced by Commercial Producers and how they have successfully adapted and changed workflow to take into consideration the ever-changing situation.
There will be a brief discussion from the panelists on how they have managed productions for Clients both here and abroad, how they have incorporated remote systems into the way content is produced, and how Post Production Facilities have moved everything to remote operations, how that has been successfully run and what positives it may bring to the future of the industry.
This event will include the opportunity to ask questions and discuss challenges and solution amongst attendees, so attendees may wish to have their webcam on during a portion of the event.
Whilst this event is specifically about Commercial Production, it is aimed at anyone working in the Film and Television Drama sector who are shooting, or planning to shoot, during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is aimed at participants who want to learn more about how the challenges raised during the pandemic are being addressed across the industry and discuss their own learnings and experiences.
