This course is self-led and can be done any time once you receive confirmation that you have been successful in obtaining access to the course.

Participant Profile:
This course is open to anyone returning to work in the AV sector after the COVID-19 lockdown. It is also open to those who are returning to their workplace/office after working remotely during the COVID-19 lockdown.The course is an online, self-directed/non-tutor led course and should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.  

Course Profile:  

This course, developed in partnership with the Skillnet audio-visual networks (Animation Skillnet, Screen Skillnet, Learning Waves Skillnet, Gréasán na Meán and Immersive Technologies Skillnet), will equip you with the knowledge required to return to the workplace safely in the Audio-Visual sector.

The course covers the training requirements set out in the Government Return to Work Protocol, COVID-19 Specific National Protocol for Employers and Workers May 2020, in addition to bespoke elements to the Audio-Visual Sector. 

There will be assessments throughout the course and learners will require a 100% pass rate to earn the Certification of Completion. If you do not achieve a 100% pass rate you can review the module you failed and repeat the assessment.  

You will also have access to a resources section that will contain the following documents:

• Government Return to Work Protocol, COVID-19 Specific National Protocol for Employers and Workers May 2020
• Screen Producers Ireland (SPI) Production Guidelines for Irish Film & TV (Live Action)
• SPI COVID-19 Production Guidelines for Factual and Entertainment
• Commercial Producers Ireland Filming Guidelines Post COVID-19

Application Procedure:
To apply for this training you must first complete a Screen Skillnet REGISTRATION FORM HERE, using the password SCREENSKILLNET

If your application is accepted you will be sent a link to complete the course. Depending on the volume of applications it may take up to 24 hours in the first few weeks to approve your application and send out the link.  If you have not received your registration within 24hrs we would first ask  you to check your spam. Emails will be sent directly from: AV Sector eLearning Hub.
All efforts will be made to process applications as soon as possible.  

Applications received at the weekends or outside of business hours will be processed on the next working day.
