Course Profile:
This course, run in part nership with Screen Ireland, will run over 0.5 day Thursday 28th April 2022 08:30am to 12:00pm
Course Registration 8.30am
(Note: Antigen testing @ 8.30am, prior to commencement of each training day)
On completion of this course participants will be able to: Identify possible fire hazards in the workplace, list control measures to be put in place, know and understand the uses of the various types of fire extinguishers, be able to select the correct type of fire extinguisher for the task, and effectively use the extinguisher.

▪ Chemistry of Fire
▪ Dangers and Consequences of Fire
▪ Precautions
▪ Fire Extinguishers
▪ Practical Experience of Extinguishing a Fire
Participant Profile:
All Film and TV industry crew, especially those with a responsibility for fire safety duties in the workplace.
The course is limited to 8 participants

Gregg Hannon is a fire-fighter with the Dublin Fire Brigade. During this time, he has provided a range of fire training courses both internally and externally to the industry. |
