INTRODUCTION

Organisational culture has been on the agenda of most senior leadership teams for quite some time, but it is clear that many organisations have struggled to understand the value it can bring, effect meaningful cultural change in their organisations, or reap the benefits of creating positive high performing cultures.

In recent years employees have new and higher expectations of their employers, they want to work in positive and healthy cultures. It is becoming harder for leaders to ignore organisational culture, or respond with tick box exercises, if they want to ensure sustainable growth and the retention of a talented workforce.

By the end of this course, participants will have the tools and skills needed to create both a culture and wellbeing strategy that will be the catalysts for real, meaningful, and positive change in their workplaces.

Delivery Mode: Each of the five modules will be delivered in-person over the course of a day.

Learning Styles: Each session will incorporate a mix of content on organisational culture and wellbeing as well as a mix of facilitators. Visual, auditory, and written content will be used.

Coursework: In between in-person sessions, participants will be asked to complete short coursework which will help them reflect on what they have learnt, as well as progressing the development of their culture and wellbeing strategies and programmes. Coursework details will be outlined prior to the course starting so that participants can plan for this work.

Personal Learning Goals and Reflection Log: Alongside the learning outcomes which will be set for each module, each participant will set their own personal learning goal and keep a learning journal for the duration of the course. Templates will be provided for this work.

Peer-to-peer Learning: There is a great benefit in company leaders sharing their experiences. In each session an element of peer-to-peer learning and cross group information sharing will be included.

Mentoring/ Coaching: The facilitators will mentor the course participants in the completion of the culture and wellbeing strategies and their programme design.
